QUALITY vs. COSMETICS

We have participated in the Home Show market place since the early 1990's. In the last few years a product called a "pre-fab” has joined the market place.

The pre- fab is built with a metal skeleton and covered with a concrete board skin. On the show room floor the pre- fab looks just like our work. However, it has a definable useable life. It is built in a factory and is delivered on a truck, usually with a crane. They sell "portability".

One limiting factor to the pre- fab is their product is built as a perfect cube. Most surfaces in your yard are sloped to move water away from the pool or the house, etc. Unless the sub surface the pre- fab sets on is perfectly level, the top of the cabinet will be as sloped as the underlying surface.

Obviously, our product when built on site, makes allowances for the underlying surface and the finished top is perfectly level even though the height of the support wall will vary from place to place along the sloped floor.

Without the use of malicious intent and a sledge hammer, our product will last at least as long as your house.

We specialize in hardscape. This means concrete and masonry work outside of your home. We build outdoor kitchens, entertainment and patio areas, the finish work we do includes flagstone, deck coating, tile and pavers.

We build all of our BBQ enclosures out of masonry material. We can use block, brick, slump block or stucco. Many time we finish a grill area using granite, tile, travertine or even cultured stone just to name a few.

Our product is not portable. Our competitors talk about a portable product and deliver their product on a crane. We build our units custom at your home and they become a permanent part of the asset of your home. As long as your wishes don't break any laws of physics, we can deliver anything that your mind can conceive and your budget will permit.

We poor a concrete slab top on our BBQ enclosures and coat them with the ceramic or porcelain tile of your choosing. Granite slabs are an option. Travertine, flagstone and many other materials can be used.

Obviously durability and longevity are paramount to us and that is why we insist on using such substantial materials.

Whether your desires run to a basic 5- or 6-foot enclosure with a grill or a much larger enclosure that includes a grill, side burner, sink, refrigerator, beer tapper, warming drawer or bar caddy, we can serve your needs.

We have a large assortment of stainless storage drawers allowing convenience and practicality to blend.

Our fireplace or fire rings cover the spectrum as well. We build all of our units of all masonry material including a fully lined firebrick firebox. This gives you the flexibility of having a wood burning unit, a gas powered unit or even a metal prefab unit to give you the modern or European look.

In the Phoenix area where heat isn't something we need to add frequently, the fireplace is an atmosphere enhancer. It creates a feel in the eye or can block the view of a neighbor that is a little to close. Many times a fire ring better serves your needs. This can give you a more open feeling which can be less obtrusive or more practical in a smaller area. Another strong advantage for a fire ring is more access space for heat to be enjoyed by a larger group of people at one time.
